LBS agencies in Ontario provide 5 key services for adult students: Students are assessed based on a 5-Level scale for each of the 5 skill areas.Intended for seniors requiring access to 24-hour care and daily support services for physical and/or cognitive conditions, as deemed eligible by social service agencies. 1 in 4 adults in Waterloo Region fall in the lowest levels of literacy and most adults with literacy challenges use English as a first language.
